Comparing a picture of Halo (DirectX 9.0b) against Crysis (DirectX 10) is bound to show an improvement because technology has moved on significantly in the past 4 to 6 years since Halo was released. Really to make that in anyway credible, they should have used a recent DirectX 9.0c game.

I had more to say but I'm feeling tired so I'll pick this up again later. I will leave you with this blog post from the NVIDIA Development website, and this OpenGL documentation which will allow developers to access the hardware features of DirectX 10 from compatible graphics cards using OpenGL. The culmination of this can be found in their SDK 10.

I would really like to see some debate on this issue, especially seeing as to use DirectX 10, you have to buy a whole new "upgrade" to Windows.]]>

Well that's one impressive blender, though I'd expect it to be since it costs just under $400.
